Police are appealing for information regarding a “road rage incident” that took place near St Thomas Church yesterday.

The incident occurred at around 14:30 on Saturday 22 March on Victoria Street and Val Plaisant.

Police said they received a call following a fight between a 57-year-old man driving a silver BMW X3 and a 47-year-old man riding a grey Suzuki motorcycle.

The altercation took place on the street outside St Thomas Church, according to the force.

Officers attended the incident identified the two males involved.

Police are now looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident – in particular, a blue moped rider who assisted in breaking up the fight.
