A PAIR of football fans are bringing back their five-a-side football tournament for the fourth year to raise funds for a disability charity – and the friends are calling on local businesses to sign up.

Worksafe Jersey managing director Tom Stead and iPop director Jonny Seller are hoping to gather 20 five-a-side teams from businesses across the Island for Kick On for Les Amis in May.

The pair now have 12 teams confirmed for the tournament but are looking for an additional eight teams to fill the remaining slots.

Mr Stead said: “This annual five-a-side charity football tournament brings together local businesses for a day of fun, friendly competition, and fundraising in support of Les Amis, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.”

The venue is Les Quennevais School on Saturday 24 May from 9am to 1pm – with a corporate team entry fee of £500.

Islanders can get involved by emailing the organisers at: tom@worksafe.je or jonny@ipopdigital.com.
