SOME properties in the east of the Island are temporarily without water following the discovery of a leak.
Jersey Water has confirmed it is undertaking “proactive repairs” after its Leak Detection team identified a mains network issue.
The company said: “A small number of properties in the areas around Gorey, Anne Port and Archirondel may temporarily be without water while the team completes this work.
“Properties may subsequently experience discoloured water, which will clear by running the kitchen tap, once supplies are back on.”
Roads remain open with access to premises, it has been confirmed.
The company said at around 5pm that it expected to fix the leak imminently and thanked customers for their patience.
Any customers who experience any ongoing issues with their supply should contact Jersey Water by calling 707302 or completing the company’s online form.
