ISLANDERS will have the chance to meet Bergerac cast members when they arrive for the Jersey première of the reimagined detective series next week.
The red-carpet event is due to take place at Cineworld on Monday, starting at 3.30pm.
It is being held ahead of the launch of the new Bergerac TV series, commissioned by BBC-owned broadcaster UKTV, on U and U&DRAMA on 27 February.
Irish actor Damien Molony – who is in the lead role of Jim Bergerac – is expected to be among the attending cast members.

Executive producer Brian Constantine said Islanders were welcome to watch the actors
arrive and “interact with the stars alongside the red carpet”.
“It is an honour to hold the Bergerac première in Jersey, the home of this iconic series. Bringing the show back to where it all began is incredibly special, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this moment with the local community.
“With many of the cast, creators and crew in attendance, it promises to be an unforgettable evening, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter
for Bergerac.
“Islanders are encouraged to come and watch the arrival of the guests, interact with the stars alongside the red carpet, and give them all a real Jersey welcome.”
