WHATEVER else Santa delivered in Jersey this Christmas, he did not deliver any bundles of joy.
No babies were born in the Island on 25 December this year, according to the Health Department.
There were also no recorded births on Boxing Day, however, some parents had their Christmas gifts come early as there were three babies born on Christmas Eve.
The JEP has asked Health the last time there were no births in Jersey on Christmas Day.
Last year, a family received a “surprise present” when their daughter, Olivia, was born in the early hours of 25 December. Olivia was the one of two babies born on Christmas Day in 2023.
