JERSEY’S Living Wage will rise to £14.13 an hour for 2025, the Catholic social-action charity that oversees the initiative has revealed – citing “a continued rise in food-bank usage” and “poverty unfortunately increasing”.
Caritas Jersey announced the new rate yesterday, having agreed it at a meeting of the Jersey Living Wage Advisory Group earlier this week.
Currently set at £13.41 per hour, the figure considers the cost of living, taxes and the value of benefits available to working people on low incomes…
