ISLANDERS gathered on Sunday to remember those who served in World Wars and other conflicts.

Chief Minister Lyndon Farnham and the Lieutenant-Governor Vice Admiral Jerry Kyd laid poppies at the Cenotaph in St Helier during a service led by the Dean.

Bailiff Sir Timothy le Cocq and several veterans were also in attendance.

A number of other services and parades took place across Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney to mark Remembrance Sunday.
