DRAFTING of legislation to ban the sale of disposable vapes is in the final stages, the Assistant Infrastructure Minister has announced in the States Assembly.
St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft said that the legislation would be lodged in the coming weeks.
The announcement comes after months of extensive consultation with officers from all areas of government and the public.
The laws are on target to be debated in April 2025 and brought in next year, Mr Crowcroft said in response to Deputy Lucy Stephenson’s efforts to seek assurances.
