A MADE in Chelsea star has named his favourite ever sandwich – egg and cress from Jersey Airport…
Jamie Laing, who first rose to fame on the reality television programme, made the confession on a show he co-presents on Radio 1.
The news and a picture of the sandwich in question, bought from Café Ubé in the Airport’s departures terminal, was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Dominic Jones, the chief executive of JPRestaurants which runs the Café Ubé chain.
Laing was in Jersey in 2021, when he was the guest speaker at a small-business conference but it is unclear whether this is when he purchased the stand-out snack.
Since rising to the top of the reality television tree, Laing, who is the great-great-grandson of the man who created the McVitie’s biscuit, has appeared in several television shows and created his own company, Candy Kittens, which specialises in vegetarian and vegan sweets.
