MANY drivers were stopped and offences “dealt with” during Community Impact Day, according to the States police.

The initiative aims to tackle antisocial driving around Jersey and follows complaints from a number of parishes.

In a post on social media, the St Helier Town Police Unit wrote: ” Many drivers have been stopped and a number of offences dealt with.”

The police also thanked honorary police from St Peter for their support.
