The States of Jersey Police has a new website (38824602)

A NEWLY launched States police website has been described as a “significant” step forward by the force.

The reporting feature on the site “allows for convenient online reporting” of non-emergency incidents, the police have said, ensuring that reports are logged and addressed.

Islanders can also access resources on crime prevention and personal safety.

“This new online platform replaces our old website in a significant step forward, enhancing community engagement and ensuring that Islanders have access to timely and accurate information,” the police said in a statement.

The police said adding the “.je” web domain “better reflects our Island identity”.

Police chief Robin Smith said: “This new website will serve as a dynamic hub where everyone can stay connected and up to date with our latest news, appeals, safety advice and other useful resources.

“I am thrilled that we have been able to update our online offering. It’s crucial that we can provide Islanders and visitors with a platform that is easy to navigate and capable of delivering useful advice and information.”
