A MAN who head-butted and kicked a police officer and hit a nightclub bouncer has admitted two counts of assault.
Lincoln Leon Martin (23) also admitted violently resisting arrest during the incident.
The Magistrate’s Court heard that the offences took place on 8 June when Martin was ejected from Vittoria wine bar.
Legal adviser Francis Burak said Martin waved his arms about, hitting the member of door staff, and head-butted and kicked one of the police officers who arrived.
Relief Magistrate Sarah Fitz adjourned sentencing until 9 August to allow time for a background report to be prepared.
She released Martin on bail on condition that he does not enter pubs or bars.
