Man (26) in Hospital with 'serious' head injury after e-scooter collides with car

A 26-YEAR-OLD man is in Hospital with a “serious” head injury following a collision between his e-scooter and a car on Sunday evening.

Police are appealing for information about the incident which took place at around 7.35pm on Belvedere Hill, St Saviour, near the junction with Bagot Road.

A statement from the States police said: “The rider of the scooter, who is 26-years-old, is currently receiving treatment in the General Hospital having sustained a serious head injury. The driver of the car is uninjured.

“Anyone who may have seen this collision take place or who has any other information that could be helpful, including any dashcam or doorbell footage, is asked to contact police on 01534 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk-org quoting police reference number M04060/2024.”
