A BLUE Islands flight had to be diverted to Exeter after experiencing “an issue with the windscreen”.
The airline said the aircraft was positioning from Jersey to Mönchengladbach in Germany for “routine scheduled maintenance” on Wednesday afternoon and was not carrying any passengers.
A Blue Islands spokesperson said: “The aircraft experienced an issue with the windscreen following the failure of a heating element and diverted to Exeter where our engineering support can resolve.”
