THE JSPCA has thanked Islanders who rallied to help provide food for four very hungry baby squirrels.
The charity issued a plea earlier this week for donations of Mr Johnson’s Wildlife Squirrel Food after the kits began “eating them out of house and home”.
In a later Facebook post, the organisation said: “Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased squirrel food – the amount of generosity is overwhelming!
“We now trust we will have plenty of food for the babies and for all our squirrels in the foreseeable future.”
