A MAN is due to appear in court on a grave and criminal assault charge following an alleged incident in La Motte Street.
In an appeal for witnesses on Saturday, States police said a “physical altercation” took place at Lilly’s Mini Market at around 10.30pm on Thursday evening.
In an update this afternoon, the force said that Joseph Ross Jordan (19) of Glasgow had been charged with one count of grave and criminal assault and is due to appear in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
It added that it was still seeking information about another man in relation to the incident, who was wearing a green T-shirt and black shorts.
