JERSEY’S rate of inflation has fallen to 5.7%.
The figure represents an annual decrease of 1.8%, but it is 1.9% higher than the current rate of inflation in the UK.
In Jersey, food prices have increased by 3.7% over the last year, while housing costs have risen by 11%, leisure goods by 5.5% and alcoholic drinks by 5.4%.
