JERSEY-born actor Henry Cavill is due to become a father after announcing that his girlfriend is pregnant.
The 40-year-old Superman star confirmed that he was expecting his first child with Natalie Viscuso.
Born in St Helier and schooled at St Michael’s, Cavill went on to play the role of Superman in blockbuster films Man of Steel (2013) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
He has also starred in popular Netflix show The Witcher.

Speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’, he said: “I’m very excited about it. Natalie and I are very excited.”
