Driver accused of hit-and-run enters ‘not guilty’ pleas

A MAN accused of causing the death by dangerous driving of a father and son in a suspected hit-and-run will stand trial in October.

At the Royal Court yesterday, Dylan John Pounds (29) pleaded not guilty to two charges of causing death by dangerous driving and one separate charge of dangerous driving.

Dylan John Pounds was remanded in custody and is due to stand trial in October for charges relating to death by dangerous driving

Mr Pounds allegedly caused the deaths of Dean Lowe (48) and his 11-year-old son Charlie.

They died after being hit by a vehicle on Rue de Fauvic in Grouville on 5 August last year.

Mr Pounds was remanded in custody and will stand trial on 22 October.
