Trapped driver rescued from car on its side following crash in St Ouen

A DRIVER was left trapped in a car which ended up on its side following a crash in St Ouen.

The 58-year-old woman was rescued from the silver Ford Focus “without issue”, according to emergency services, but the car was extensively damaged.

The States police, ambulance and Jersey Fire and Rescue Service all attended the single-vehicle collision at the bottom of Mont Pinel.

Roads were closed for around two hours on Tuesday evening to allow for recovery of the vehicle.

The police are investigating and have appealed to anyone who may have come across the collision to contact 612 612.
