THE police are appealing for information after a bin was set alight at the bus stop between Pizza Express and the Crab Shack in St Brelade’s Bay.
Firefighters were called out and quickly extinguished the blaze, which damaged a nearby bench.
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at about 7.50pm on Saturday, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via the organisation’s anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
