THE States police are investigating the sudden death of a man following an incident at Commercial Buildings.
At least three police cars, two ambulances and a fire engine were sent to the scene and the road was cordoned off near the Steam Clock.
The road has since reopened.
In a statement issued at just after 7.30pm, the States police said: “The States of Jersey Police are dealing with the unexpected death of a male in a private address.
“This remains under investigation and a report will be submitted to the Deputy Viscount in due course.”
