JERSEY Met has issued a wind warning for the Channel Islands as Storm Isha batters the UK.
Jersey is expected to see strong southerly winds, with gusts up to 55mph overnight – “perhaps briefly gale 8”.
An orange wind warning is in force for the Channel Islands shipping area, with galeforce 8 winds expected.
Jersey is set to escape the worst of Storm Isha, which is expected to batter the UK on Sunday and early Monday morning, with gusts of up to 80mph forecast.
