A DRIVER was taken to hospital as a precaution following a crash at the bottom of Beaumont Hill.
The motorist – a woman in her 50s – and her passengers suffered minor injuries in the accident at about 8.20pm on Tuesday.
Rue du Craslin was closed for more than an hour.
A wall and bollards surrounding the cannon next to the road were damaged in the single-vehicle crash.
