A 32-YEAR-OLD woman has been jailed for being involved in the importation and supply of drugs in Jersey.
Callie Le Guillou was first arrested in February 2022 when about £750 worth of class A and B drugs were found at her home along with £670 cash and weighing scales.
During the investigation, her phone was examined, which showed that she was involved in smuggling and supplying drugs.
A further search warrant was executed in April 2023 at Le Guillou’s home where officers found cannabis resin with an estimated value of up to £2,250 and the controlled class C drug Pregabalin.
She was charged in July last year and pleaded guilty to all the drugs charges. Two months later she admitted to a charge of failing to allow access to her phone.
During a hearing in the Royal Court today she was jailed for three years and four months.
Detective Sergeant Jim McGranahan, who leads the Drug Squad, said: “The States of Jersey Police Drug Squad are highly motivated to keep the community safe and will pursue drug dealers and suppliers whenever and wherever they operate.
“We are committed to keeping illegal drugs off our streets and putting those who deal in illegal drugs and misery before the courts.”
