MOTORISTS are being warned of disruption when a major resurfacing project starts next week.
Green Street will be closed between 7.30am on Monday and 8pm on Friday from next week until 30 January.
The government said businesses will be open as usual and access to premises will be maintained where possible.
Sections of Mount Bingham will then be closed between the same hours on weekdays between 31 January and 8 February.
During the work, there will be a temporary reversal of traffic direction on South Hill between 6am and 10am to give Islanders easier access to Pier Road car park.
Diversions will be in place, and Islanders travelling to or through this part of St Helier are being encouraged to allow more time for their journeys.
