Who can find Jersey's silliest sign?

WE all make mistakes, but one Islander has encouraged people to see the light-hearted side of spelling errors.

Phil Taylor, who founded the Facebook group “Jersey Sign Mistakes”, has been collecting pictures of strange signage from around the Island.

Like this one…

Posting this sign on the group, he taught an important lesson to Islanders: 12pm refers to noon, and 12am refers to midnight.

He wrote: “Comedically, it actually should be 11pm, like the other signs, and the communication on gov.je which all state 11pm.”

And bus users asked to give feedback on the La Motte Street bus stop will, presumably, all make the same comment: the stop is currently out of action.

Other highlights found on the page include signs for a “multi-story” car park and the States police’s advice to travel safely… “whatever you mode of transport”.
