AN ice warning has been issued for Jersey.
The yellow alert – the lowest-level warning – states: “Air temperatures are expected to fall to around 1°C tonight and below freezing on the ground. With light winds and breaks in the cloud away from showers, icy surfaces may form in places.”

The cold weather is expected to continue during Saturday, with the risk of prolonged showers with hail. Temperatures are only expected to reach 7°C.
Milder weather is set to push across the Islands from Sunday.
