Woman remains in 'critical but stable' condition following 'stabbing' in St Helier shop

A SHOP worker allegedly stabbed multiple times in a Morrisons store at the weekend remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital, the States police have confirmed.

The 34-year-old was taken to hospital early on Saturday afternoon following the incident at Castle Quay on the Waterfront.

Trevor Robert John Green (55) was arrested later in the afternoon and charged with attempted murder the following day.

He appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday and is due to appear in the Royal Court in February.
