A THUNDERSTORM warning has been issued for Jersey.
The yellow-level warning states that “isolated thunderstorms are expected to be very near or over the Island” during Saturday.

A yellow-level wind warning has also been issued by Jersey Met.
Winds are expected to gust to 45mph today, and increase tomorrow, possibly reaching gale-force-eight with gusts to 50mph.

However, Jersey Met has stressed that the weather will be much less severe than Storm Ciarán and that “no significant storms” are expected for at least the next five days.
