JERSEY could be in the firing line for 100mph winds from Storm Ciarán, according to a UK Met Office forecasting model.
The animation, published on Wednesday afternoon, shows that the Island could take a direct hit from a small area of exceptionally strong winds early on Thursday.
Jersey Met has already warned of gusts of more than 90mph, and has issued red-level warnings for wind and coastal flooding.
