A SMALL clothing brand from Jersey has caught the eye of a renowned international men’s magazine just two months after its launch.
Jèrriais Clothing was recently included in GQ magazine’s ‘Lookbook’ section, which showcases emerging brands.
Islander Josh Heath founded Jèrriais Clothing – a “small brand with a big vision” that specialises in “premium clothing”, providing customers with a versatile and comfortable wardrobe for all seasons.
It currently focuses on streetwear, but hopes to expand into the sportswear industry and other areas of fashion in the future.
Mr Heath said: “I’ve been passionate about fashion for as long as I can remember, but I only recently explored the possibility of starting my own brand after researching it.”
He described being featured in GQ as an “amazing opportunity” for the brand, and said it was “something that I am super proud of this early into our journey”.
Mr Heath continued: “I think at this moment in time the value of small businesses in Jersey is massive, I feel like more people should be trying to create things for themselves within their passions over here.
“I really do encourage anyone that is on the fence about starting any sort of business but has a huge passion to go for it.
“You’ll be massively surprised by the support the Island can generate.”
