COMEDIAN Hugh Dennis – a familiar face on panel shows and sitcoms – has been booked to host this year’s Institute of Directors Jersey awards night.
The event celebrates the business community by recognising the best directors of the year in a number of categories.
IoD Jersey chair Natasha Egré said the organising committee was delighted to have secured Mr Dennis.
She added: “The IoD Jersey Awards are always a huge opportunity to recognise the best of our leaders in Jersey, but they are also a chance for all our members, guests and nominees to network and enjoy a celebratory night out.
“Hugh Dennis’s satirical style of presenting will guarantee a fantastic evening, and I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all our sponsors for making this event possible.”
The awards dinner is due to take place on Thursday 19 October from 6.30pm at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.
