THE RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat towed a yacht back to St Helier on Sunday after the vessel lost power off the north coast.

The crew was called out just after 7.20am when the ten-metre yacht got into difficulty between the Paternosters and Dirouilles reefs.

The lifeboat travelled around the west of the Island, before establishing a tow line and returning via the east to take advantage of the incoming tide.
