TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a car was flipped over the railings at the junction of Roussel Street and St John’s Road on Wednesday evening.

A silver Ford Fiesta travelling down St John’s Road collided with a lamp post and roadside barrier eventually coming to rest over the barrier on Roussel Street below at around 9.20pm, according to the States police.

An ambulance attended the scene to treat minor injuries.

Two 17-year-old males were later arrested and have been bailed while enquiries continue.

Footage and images from the night showed the silver Ford Fiesta caught upside down between railings with a significant amount of surrounding debris.

Several roads had to be closed due to the incident which have since been reopened.
