A NEW duty-free shop has opened at the Elizabeth Terminal.
The store, run by Capi Duty Free Ports, will sell liquor, other alcoholic drinks and tobacco.
Harbourmaster Bill Sadler said: ‘I’m pleased that we have now had all the necessary permissions to be able to offer our ferry passengers the opportunity to buy duty-free goods at the Harbour.’
He added: ‘I hope travellers take advantage of the new service now that it is available.’
Passengers also have the option of pre-ordering their duty-free purchases online up to 30 days before they travel.
Capi managing director Guus Jonge Poerink said: ‘We are honoured to operate our Capi store on this beautiful Island and serve the visitors and citizens of Jersey with duty-free products.’
