Police appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage following fatal crash in Grouville

POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a 70-year-old woman died following a serious collision with a car while cycling in Grouville.

The incident, which involved a silver Volkswagen Golf driven by a 79-year-old man, and a female cyclist (70), took place between 9.40 and 9.50am on Monday near the Iceland store on La Rue à Don.

The cyclist died later that morning as a result of the collision.

The States police have said they are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen the incident, as well as any drivers who were driving in that area at that time or those who may have dash-cam footage relevant to the investigation.
