DOG owners returning from France are being reminded that their pet will need a valid tapeworm treatment.
The veterinary team from Infrastructure and Environment said the treatment should have been administered by a vet, no less than 24 hours and no more than 120 hours before entering Jersey.
The treatment should be recorded in the dog’s pet passport or animal health certificate, vets said.
