Police release image of man they want to talk to in relation to alleged assault in St Helier pub

AN image of a man detectives want to talk to in relation to an alleged assault has been released by the States police.

The appeal for information follows a disturbance in The Office pub in St Helier while the World Cup quarter-final between England and France was being televised on the evening of 10 December.

The force say that the man is believed to be about 6ft tall and aged in his 40s, and had dark hair and a beard.

He also had a French flag painted on both sides of his face and was wearing a red football top.

Anyone with information is being asked to visit the Caught on Camera section of the States police’s website or phone the force on 612612.
