A HIRE car got into a spot of bother earlier when it was found off the side of a slipway near Corbière.
Islander Andrew Gottrel posted the pictures of the dark blue Skoda on the Jersey Parking Fails group on Facebook, with the caption ‘you can’t park there’.
The pictures show the Skoda mounted on top of a number of rocks just off the side of the Le Grouet slip near Corbière.
Mr Gottrel’s post has gathered a number of comments and reactions.
However, the cause of the incident remains unclear but a number of the Islanders suggested that the tide may have washed the car across the rocks.
