A CAR crashed into the surrounding wall of Government House on St Saviour’s Hill on Sunday morning.
The incident happened at around 5.30am, and by the time officers arrived on the scene, the driver had left, leaving damage to the car and wall.
St Saviour’s Hill was closed for several hours while the vehicle was recovered.
A police spokesperson said that officers were looking for the driver and would be issuing an official appeal for witnesses later today.
