A NEW thunderstorm warning has been issued by Jersey Met.
The yellow warning – the lowest level of alert – was issued at noon on Wednesday and states that ‘isolated thunderstorms are expected to be very near or over the Island at times during the next seven hours’.
A similar warning was issued on Tuesday, but the Island saw just 1mm of rain, with the storms passing over Guernsey and Normandy.
The risk of showers is expected to decrease overnight.
