JERSEY Zoo is celebrating the arrival of its newest animal – an aardvark.
The two-year-old male, named Tafari, has come to the Island from Colchester Zoo, where he was born.
He will be sharing the ‘Discovery Desert’ exhibit with the meerkats.
A herd of golden Guernsey goats have also joined the zoo. The group of four have been moved from a quarantine area to their new paddock, and can often be seen kidding around with their keepers, greeting visitors.
