SHINZO restaurant in St Aubin is to close.
The restaurant, which opened in 2020 and specialises in steak, sushi and cocktails, has blamed the pandemic and ‘lack of financial support’ for its demise.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the restaurant said: ‘To all our amazing and loyal customers it comes with a very heavy heart that we need to inform you that Shinzo is closing down in the next few weeks, exact date to be confirmed.
‘The global pandemic over the last few years and lack of financial support has made it impossible to get on a front foot and making the decision to close has not come easy.
‘We hope you will join us in the sunshine this weekend for a cocktail or two or one of the delicious dishes from our hot kitchen.
‘Thanks to you all for your support.’
