CAST members of The Real Housewives of Jersey have reacted to one of their co-stars announcing she is leaving the show after two series.
Kate Taylor and Margaret Thompson spoke after Tessa Hartmann revealed she would not be returning for a third season of the TV programme, which follows the lives of seven Jersey women and first aired on ITVBe and ITVHub in December 2020.
Mrs Hartmann said that the show had been ‘amazing for Jersey’ but that it had become ‘too personal’ for her.
Ms Thompson said: ‘I am sure that all of the housewives – including myself – will wish her all the best in her future endeavours. It wasn’t for her and I understand that.
‘As far as I’m aware no one in the cast has been asked back yet and that’s because decisions still have to be made about a third season. If there was a third season then, in my opinion, there would definitely be new housewives, as you do need to have new blood.
‘All in all, I think it has been a great experience for Jersey.’
Ms Taylor said: ‘We will miss her, she brought a spark to the programme and we wish her all the best. I did see it coming and I don’t blame her for opting out.’
She added that there was ‘no bad blood’ between the two of them.
