SOME Hospital wards that were temporarily closed to visitors as a result of Covid-19 or Norovirus are due to reopen this weekend.

Sections of the Hospital, including the Acute Assessment Unit and Rozel Ward, reopened to visitors today, while Plemont Ward is due to reopen tomorrow. Sorel Ward and Beauport Ward will remain temporarily closed to visitors.

Cedar Ward at St Saviour’s hospital is also due to reopen to visitors today.

Those visiting the Hospital or other Health and Community Services sites are being reminded that they must wear masks at all times and take a lateral flow test (LFT) before coming into the building. Anyone not wearing a mask in the Hospital will be asked to leave.

Islanders are also being told not visit if they feel unwell or have Covid or Norovirus symptoms.
