Teen arrested after man 'punched in head and kicked while on the ground' in an attack in St Helier

A TEENAGER has been arrested after a man was allegedly punched and then kicked while he lay on the ground during an assault in St Helier.

The man suffered minor injuries in the incident, which happened between 2am and 3am in Queen Street, close to the junction with Bath Street, on Saturday 19 February.

The suspect has been described by the police as just over 5ft tall, of slim build with black hair which is slightly curly at the fringe.

He was wearing a light brown jacket with a hood and dark coloured jeans.

A teenager was arrested the following day and released pending further inquiries.
