Teams were searching in the area using a drone when they made the discovery. No formal identification has taken place but the States police believe that it is the missing 32-year-old.
Officers are working to support the man’s family and the circumstances around the death are not believed to be suspicious.
A file is being prepared for the Deputy Viscount.
