The incident happened on Princes Tower Road at the junction of Rue de la Commune at around 3pm. Pictures taken at the scene show a red Volkswagen van lying on the bonnet of a Mercedes estate car
According to Jersey Fire and Rescue Service, who used equipment to stabilise the vehicles, the drivers – two women aged 30 and 40 – were treated by paramedics at the crash site but did not require hospital treatment.
No arrests have been made and police are investigating the incident.
