Firefighters, police and paramedics all responded to the incident which took place on Monday [14 December] at around 1.25pm – near to the M&S store on Route des Issues in St John.
A 68-year-old woman, who was driving when the tree fell, was assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance. The States police have said her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed to allow a tree surgeon to clear the blockage.
